"Some are good, some are bad... just the way life works"

"Well... I was bullied from 7th to about 10th grade from ogjh to oghs... wasn't anything wrong with me, just wasn't the same as others. I was also going through a different experience I had to deal with from the past, so that just made it worse. They accepted me at first, but as soon as I didn't think like them, or fit into their clique,oh it was like I never had played on their football team, or like I had not even tried to get to know them. Anyway, so I was the outcast. I got then into the wrong crowd, made some bad choices, such as substance abuse, and that didn't get their attention... so I thought to myself... what should I do to get them to like me? So, the spiral down in those years almost led to my suicide. I get help, recover, and I know that, in those simple terms, doesn't do it enough justice... but I will and have sucked it up and moved on. I'm just a strong person now. Anyway, so I get the help I need, and even though I was the outcast, and had almost been kicked out of ogorman, I said to myself... what should I do? I can move to another school, or just do it for the great education... somewhat great teachers by the way. So I stayed... I actually improved my skills at the simple things, such as talking in a social setting, and Other small yet big improvements. Then, I began to notice a change... I saw people taking a notice to me, but only when I engaged them... that's how I started making friends... well, I thought to myself, maybe I can stay. So I did, but not for the Jerks who disliked me, for the ones who actually cared about me. I stayed the rest of my years until I graduated... Not with who I would have liked to, but... still graduated on time. Then I looked back on my experience, after all the drama, and everything. I realized even though I dont like this school, I still love myself and the person I along with my friends have become! I am going to college in the fall ,and I'm not afraid to say I'm in the class of 2016. Thanks for reading. Be kind."

"If you're going to choose this school, do it for the academics. O'Gorman should be considered a prep school because most every class you take is "getting you ready for college." Aside from the academics, the social world at this school can be frustrating. Quite a few groups are stuck-up, spoiled, and very close-minded. There are lots of conservative families that send their kids here, so it stands to reason that there are a lot of conservative ideas floating around. This can really be frustrating if you tend to be more open-minded and left, but it's arguably worth it for the amazing academics."

"Like every school, there's always going to be a few teachers who rub you the wrong way. Despite that, there are some serious gems at O'Gorman who challenge you and want you to succeed. When I attended, my favorite teachers were typically either history or English teachers."
