"One positive experience in attending this school is seeing the overwhelming support from the community for sporting events, particularly football. The community rallies around our athletic teams and also comes together to support one another during unfortunate events like house fires or car accidents. People give generously in times of crisis. I would not choose this school again because although the teachers place high expectations on the students, the administration does not place high expectations on the teachers. This high school does not offer much in way of opportunities. Although I enjoy the friends I have made and the memories, I think going to a school with more opportunities and more committed teachers would have had a more positive effect on my future."

"We don't offer that many different classes. Freshman through junior year you are pretty much locked into 1 or 2 classes offered in order to graduate or get into college (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language/maybe 1 elective). Senior year, if going to college, you need those same subjects, possibly switching out foreign language for an elective. They offer no computer classes (such as coding or an intro to computer science/problem solving). The workload is ridiculous. I had to forego sports junior year because of the amount of homework. I often have 3 hours of homework a night. I couldn't afford to let my grades slip because of sports practice."

"It's not bad because of how students respond, it's just our situation. Our community is relatively the same - white, Christian."

"This used to be a great high school years ago. Now we have only a handful of teachers who go above and beyond. Most are doing the bare minimum. One teacher even spends class time on his phone or searching on the computer and tells us to figure it out when we approach him with a question. Some teachers don't even respond to emails. The teaching styles vary. Some of the best teachers are those who expect more, answer questions, work with you before or after school, and try to relate the content to a teenager's world. I have had some great teachers, unfortunately, they tend to get rid of the great teachers or those teachers move onto another school because of pay. I wish I could have attended this high school when it was great and well-respected."

"Overall the teachers do what they need to so that a student may be successful, however some teachers feel that they are always right and the students opinion doesnt matter."
