"Avon School is a perfect place for students to lean. They have great education. Their students have great responsibly. They have character counts at that school. Mrs. Dickermans class is a good role model for other kids. Also is Mrs. Zarras class. Keep on the good work guys!!!!! As for Ms. Bartus' class. As for the superintendent and the principle say ''Hi'' to Brianna Ochoa say that she is doing a good job, and to Jordan T Curtis. Avon Center Elementary School is a great school for your student. Trust Me"

"Has improved greatly. The teachers are wonderful. One thing I wish they did was have a little longer lunch and then recess after lunch everyday."

"My kids have attended Avon since Kindergarten (now in 3rd and 1st). Overall, the teachers are absolutely wonderful, caring and involved -- willing to do whatever they can to help the individual child. The dowside of Avon is the antiquated building with no air conditioning in hot weather, small classrooms and too many kids per class. There also seems to be a higher than normal ratio of kids coming in with special needs (ADD, etc) that require more time and attention from the teacher -- in an overcrowded classroom, this makes it near impossible for the other kids to get their needs met. My daughter went for 1/2 the year not knowing what the computer test for reading was and how to master it because she was overlooked due to the distractions. Something needs to be done to address these issues."

"No continuity for special education. If your child does not fit the box then they are outcast.A lot of bullying with no parent followup.Parents do not get that involved in the school. No time for parents.Difficult to get past the ofice during the day with concerns about your child."
