"I loved my high school a lot, but the number one thing that I loved most about it was the diversity. My elementary school and my middle school didn't have much diversity in it, so entering Niles West was a big change. The reason I loved it a lot though is because you get to learn a lot from other people, you get to learn it from their perspective which is most of the time different from your. I feel like everyone needs to experience that in their life to actually grow as a person."

"I attended Niles West for 4 years; my experience was alright but could've been better. Most teachers are wonderful and there are a variety of AP and honors level classes for high-achieving students. Students are diverse but cliquey and it is hard to make friends if you don't put yourself out there. Cafeteria food (Organic Life) is sub-par and overpriced."

"Great School with amazing teachers who are both motivating and extremely intelligent individuals. My teachers where a huge motivation aspect for my future career in aviation and has never given up on me. My teachers ha only encouraged me greatly to pursue my dream job as a Art Traffic Control in which I am extremely passionate about."

"Niles West High School is possibly the worst school I've been to. It forces students to take many classes which is ridiculous, because most classes aren't necessary. There are some classes that were nice, but the requirements are just too high. What doesn't make sense to me is that they push students hard to get into college, but they don't bother teaching them instead in high school to avoid wasting time. Want another time waster? It's very hard to get driver's education. It's ridiculously expensive ($400!) when other places are much cheaper. AND there are barely classes to enroll in. They spend so much time on learning a bunch of things that most people are going to forget, but no focus on surviving and taking care of yourself. Thankfully I got out before it gotten worse."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Niles West. Over the four years I have attended, I have made friends and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. The teachers who work there are kind and helpful. Through their guidance, I have grown into a student who is ready to take on the world and move on to the next step in my life."
