"Overall a good experiance. Many teachers i had were incompetent and only lasted one year. There are many great teachers however that really make this school what it is. This school is not for everyone but your experiance here is what you make of it."

"Going to Norte Dame College Prep has been one of the best experiences ever and I wouldn't change the brotherhood for anything. It is nothing short from a college preparatory as they challenge all the dons to try their best. The athletics is one of a kind also, winning awards almost every year. The staff and facilities are just as great, they challenged me to my highest potential more than I ever thought I could even reach. The councilors are there to support us through every year especially senior year during college applications and doing whatever they can to make us successful. One con to the school (but also very positive sometimes) is the rigorous discipline. There are some unneeded rules to follow however all in all a great school to start of a mans career."

"I love the brotherhood and the life lessons learned. There are never any major problems amungst students. The clubs and activities are all amazing and great ways to meet new people and experience new things. The academics are very challenging and the students become college ready due to the rough academics. The sports programs are also one of the best in the state playing in 8A IHSA competition it provides a great deal of recruitment opportunities for the students trying to play a sport in college. Also the best part of it all the school lunches are incredible and students rush the cafe for great quality meals by Quest food service. The students also have tons of resources provided by our own school library where students relax and read a book or print out an essay and use the computers and chromebooks for a project."

"Notre Dame is decent although not great. Teachers were a mixed bag. Curriculum is above average, but took a nose dive during my sophomore year when the iPad became mandatory. It is simply not a device for serious work, it only serves as a distraction. Dress code is enforced. Club variety is lacking, most of the school's funding going to the football program. Now, my real beef with ND: Yes, it is a Catholic school. You are required to attend mass. Religion classes are required as well. This would not be a problem for most, but I became disillusioned with organized religion and became tired of the same party line every year. There is little tolerance of any other viewpoints from both the administration and the student body which I hate to say it, suffers from "toxic masculinity." I had a handful of friends, but did not feel comfortable being myself, as I am not exactly straight, and was afraid of coming out. Notre Dame has its strengths, but were not enough for a good experience."

"The School provides many different programs for a wide range of students. They help students with mental disabilities, learning disorders, and anyone who needs help. Teachers are sincere and willing to help with academics or life problems. One thing I would like to see change is the amount of teachers that leave the school. Since I first arrived at Notre Dame, I lost around 10 teachers who have taught me."
