"This school does a great job at keeping parents informed about the college application process among other things. They communicate well with parents!"

"From my child's experience I would say that the teachers at BBCHS are very good. They are interested in whether the students are learning the material or not, and are available to help them if they need help. The teachers are knowledgeable and have good raport with the students."

"I take mostly AP classes, and I've found most of my teachers to be extremely dedicated. However, when I've seen normal level classes and teachers, I am not pleased. A lot of the teachers simply don't care after the grading policies switched and most of them are more unmotivated than their students."

"There are more than 2,000 students attending BBCHS therefore the teachers can not always pay attention to each and every, individual student they have in their classes. They do try their best to be engaged and interested in their students to the best of their ability. Also, each teacher had a different teaching style, some lectured while others had the students try to figure things out on their own and guide them on the right path. However, during the year of 2014, the school board introduced a new grading system, in which homework did was not cumulated into the students' grades and we were able to reassess , or retake, a test if we failed, as long as we did the reassessment work. The change in the grading system caused disorganization among teachers and students. The students took advantage of the new system by not doing their homework, taking the test to see what it consisted of, and then just reassessed it later to get a higher grade. This gave the teachers more work and made it harder for them to keep up with the reassessment work, grading the reassessments, and not getting behind on the curriculum."

"I have enjoyed my years at BBCHS, and like any high school, it is what you make it."
