"I think this school has many strong departments for honors track kids. The social sciences, sciences, and English departments have excellent teachers that love their job. The only department I found lacking was the math department. They were dispassionate, and had a hard time to motivate or effectively teach students"

"LP is a great school that teaches kids more than just a basic eduacation. Throughout the high school experience a family between students and teachers is created and lasts all 4 years. Teachers are always available for help with school or not. This school teaches students on all levels."

"There is so much to be involved with at this school. The only negative is that not everyone feels welcome enough to get involved."

"I loved the atmosphere and community that surrounds LPHS. The athletics and clubs were an important part to my experience and the administration truly wants the students to succeed. The majority of the teachers I had were enjoyable and were passionate about their subjects. The counselors were decent, and tried to make sure the classes I was in were exactly where I belonged. LPHS has a variety of honors and AP level classes as well."
