"Overall, Galva High School is a great environment. It is a small, struggling school, but they do the best they can with what they have. Majority of my teachers got to know us on a personal level and were awesome. The worst thing for me about this school is the fact that there are no AP or honors classes. I average a 97-100% in all of my classes with ease. I'm not a genius. I am just not challenged enough. My favorite part of this school has been our FFA program. We have the best teacher/advisor that truly cares for us all. I have enjoyed my time at Galva, but I'm also ready for a more exciting and challenging educational experience in college."

"I really love this school because of how close all the students are, in my class practically everyone gets along. We are like family."

"Some classes are challenging, whereas others are not. Some teachers give out homework and drill the work into you so you remember it, where others are just "there""

"Although there are days when I am completely ready to leave school and go to a university, I do genuinely love my high school. If given the opportunity, I would choose to stay with the friendly teachers and environment with great class structure a few more years."

"We may not have a diverse school, but the social scene is very positive. Everyone seems to get along with every as long as there isn't too much conflict. There isn't much peer pressure, and we are all who we are."
