"The teachers at mahomet are wonderful. They are very good with their students. They like when students ask questions that question what they are teaching. The teachers at mahomet are the best ever."

"I love mahomet and I am very happy that I got to spend 12 years there. Mahomet is one of the best school academically, but also the sports and extra activicties are very much appreciated."

"I don't have any friends. The school is so cliquey that I cannot insert myself into a group and have them accept me. I am not in any clubs, as none seem to fit me right. The drama and music department play such big favorites that even though many people tell me I am a good singer, I never get a part or solo. The I would like to have more choices in the classes I could take, like more AP or creative classes. I would love if the foreign language track was more rigorous so students could be more ready for real life experiences."

"There are teachers who do not teach up to the standard they should, like in AP Chemistry or our foreign language department (with the exception of one). The math department goes above and beyond to hep students outside of the classroom and make sure they understand the material, or other subjects too. The math department is sorely behind on technology, though. they all use chalk/white boards. The english department is good at teaching most of what they need to and try to be available to help students. The social studies department is mostly coaches, so they are not around when you need them. They also are a little behind with technology, using years old powerpoints without updates."

"While most teachers are extremely dedicated to their jobs, it feels like sometimes that they only care about their student's grades and not the students as people. Almost everybody here cares about their grades and it's a pretty competitive environment for a small public school."
