"Bunker Hill High School, also known as BHHS has been a definite impact on my life. The teachers and faculty are such great inspirations. I personally enjoy being in my classes, working together with other students, learning more and more. The building itself isn't the best looking, but has great safety add-ons within the past years. All of the teachers are very helpful and extremely easy to talk to if needed. At BHHS, you never have to feel alone. There is always someone there for you whether it is another student, the counselor, or even the lunch ladies! I couldn't imagine graduating anywhere but here. I'm proud of the small town I grew up in and the one hall high school that I attended for 3 years so far."

"The teachers are wonderful and I love being in a small town where everybody knows everybody. I also loving playing basketball with my teammates and coaches. On Friday nights there is no where else to be if the football team is playing at home!"

"Most of the teachers are very knowledgeable and explain everything well. You can always arrange time before or after school and in study hall if you need extra help."

"In my 12 years (including kindergarten) in the Bunker Hill school district I have made a lot of friends, and I have found that the environment is very forgiving. It is alright to make mistakes, but the staff will always push their students to do better. Small classroom sizes make communication easier, and extracurricular activities are very welcoming and connected. The friendly nature about this school is extraordinary, and it's easy to get to know absolutely everyone. If I had the option to choose this school again, i'm not sure that I would. The staff is far from politically correct, and ignorance of real world issues, triggers, and negitive stigma abounds."

"A good handful of the teachers are very admirable in their teachings and respect student's boundaries and schedules. They do not assign a large amount of homework during times when students are stressed, such as finals week, homecomeing week, etc. Other times they assign what it fair to analyze wheather the students have an understanding of the information or not. The teachers outside of this group are far from politically correct and up to date on their teachings, often getting confused in their own lessons or stumped by genuine questions coming from the students. They do not respect their students and usually revert to the old 'it is this way because I'm right' phrase. This brings down the experience at my school by a lot."
