"Overall, this school is okay. I made friends, found clubs and groups that accepted me for who I am, and I was even apart of the best band in the state. The religious pressure isn't the greatest, I felt uncomfortable throughout most of my school life."

"East Newton High was a very exceptional learning place. For one, it's out in the middle of nowhere so there aren't many distractions from the outside world. Also, it is encompassed by a very tight-knit community, so in a couple of years you can very well know all of the students and teachers, resulting in a higher chance of making friends; which is exactly what happened with me. I was never bullied and was able to be myself at East Newton High and had an all-together superb experience there all throughout my high school years. I would not have gone to a different high school if I had the chance."

"Some of the teachers didn't do their job adequately, teaching more about their personal opinions than the actual subject matter. Some were very disorganized, and some didn't respect students or what they had to say."
