"It's a good school with good programs. However, the school itself is very small. They're trying though. They are trying really, really hard. As far as teachers go, most of them are really nice. The ones who usually do the dual-credit stuff with Crowder are really sour. I've heard some pretty interesting rumors about at least three of them, and I have met and can personally say that two of them are really mean and/or not quite right on the head. But like I said, the rest of them are really nice. There are a handful who need to get there stuff together, but they don't treat their students unfairly. The counsellors care about the students they work with. The cafeteria food stinks and tastes like bland awfulness most of the time. The school does care about the students and they do the best they cans with what they are given."

"Neosho High School had a staff that was committed to the education and bettering of its students. They have also recently updated their facilities to make classes even better for both teachers and students."

"Going to Neosho high school all my high school career was very hard but also an experience to grow and mature. As you go through high in a small town where everyone kinda knows everyone things become different. You soon realize that some people don't care unless you have a common popular last name. Going through high school In Neosho wasn't the best memories in my child hood, but they sure did show me how to handle things on my own and be more mature than most s are there. I want to thank the counselors at NHS for they had always been very helpful and uplifting when things weren't always easy."

"Having graduated from this high school just last year, I feel it appropriate to give my review of this institution before my opinion becomes invalid due to renovations and change of faculty. I did not enjoy the school for the first two or three years within it, and my reasons, I believe, are justified. There are many required classes which aren't being taught by efficient instructors, and the overall attitude that the staff share is extremely negative. The science and math departments are very lacking in college-readiness. The best academic department at the school is English, and the teachers who head the department were the best teachers I had. The school attitude is lacking, and a lot of the funds go towards Football related business and not the groups which really deserve it, like the Wrestling team or Debate group who do well at State every year and even sometimes nationals. Overall, It could just improvement but isn't all that terrible."

"Neosho High School is overall a pretty average school. As of right now, the school is far too packed. However, that should change with the addition of a junior high school in a few years. As with every school, there are some teachers that no one ever wants to have, but there are a few that I wish I could have had all four years- not because they were easy by any means, but because they really know how to teach, get through to students, and they care. Sports... Well unless you consider show choir and marching band sports, Neosho does not rank very high in that department. It does how ever have good wrestling and girls basketball programs. The Ag. department is also massive and very well known in this area. Other than those things, Neosho really is a typical small town school."
