"Webb City high school was a good place to get my start for someone who was more interested in academics and fine arts than sports or trades. While the budget and focus was decidedly skewed toward football, participating in band and show choir programs that consistently won awards was a unique opportunity afforded me by the school. I look back on my time there with fondness and am grateful for the start it offered me."

"Webb City creates future leaders and successful adults. They definitely shape kids into working citizens. However, they are very strict. Safety of the students is always a concern. They are very much into sports, particularly football. They have been the leading champs to beat in the football world for some time now."

"Scheduling process is in dire need of modification. They use arena enrollment, which in short, is a process in which you create a schedule, take a randomly assigned number, and run around a gym to teachers who sign off on your enrollment. All of this occurs while you simultaneously hope that your classes don't close, otherwise you begin again. It doesn't prepare you for online college enrollment, therefore I do not see the purpose for the unnecessary chaos. The academics are great. Webb City almost always outscores surrounding schools and ranks nationally. The curriculum varies from the different types of classes offered (remedial, average, dual credit, and AP)."

"The lack of diversity has a lot to do with the location. Southwest Missouri is in the Bible Belt, which means there is a lot of focus of Christianity. There is some sexual diversity, but I will admit that through personal experiences, there is a lot of turmoil surrounding the subject. Teachers and staff are non bias and accepting, in fact, there are homosexual teachers who created a SAGA club. There are many stereotypical "religious" redneck jocks who throw rude remarks and cyber comments freely. That being said, there are many genuine people at this school who don't hesitate to stand up to discrimination. Bullying occurs, like it does in any other social situation, but I never experienced a situation where disciplinary action was not enforced."

"Webb City is an amazing town and a great place to grow. This small town revolves around outstanding athletics, academics, and arts. Football games and band competitions are community events. The lack of religious and culture diversity has a lot to do with the location. Southwest Missouri isn't necessarily teeming with world culture, but that's not to say it isn't ever present. I was extremely involved in high school; joined multiple clubs and organizations, took dual credit and AP courses, and maintained a goof GPA. I became student body president my senior year, which allowed me to work alongside the conservative, yet understanding administration. I would attend WCHS again if given the chance. I loved every minute of my experience at Webb City because I was given the opportunity to excel in every way possible."
