"Our daughter was endlessly bullied and the admin did ZERO to resolve the issue. We had to move out of the district to keep her safe. The drugs are horrible, and they do random drug screens due to the amount of drugs in the district. They may have great academics, but the bullies and drugs ruin the district."

"The thing I like most about Monett high school is our new schedules which a based on mod scheduling. All this means is the day is separated into 17 mods , each mod consist of 25 minutes a piece. So depending on the importance of the class it could be 1, 2, 3, or even 4 mods long. It also gives us more freedom because on mods that we don't have classes we are able to go to resources rooms. The resource rooms are where students get help on work that they have in classes. For example if I had algebra home work I would go to the math resource. The reason our school decided to switch to mod scheduling was to give us students more freedom. They wanted to help prepare us more for college, thus the mod scheduling giving us more freedom. But more responsibility as well."

"Monett is just small enough where you know most students but just big enough where you don't know each of them personally. Good school overall"

"At MHS we use Modular Scheduling, that rotates on 25 min sections, 17 times a day, everyday. It gives students designated areas to get help on core subjects, (Communication Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies). With this scheduling students are about to access one-on-one time with teachers/faculty. I love our school. It can be shift at times, but in the end it always pulls through. :)"

"I think that overall the quality of teachers is great, I just think that the grading consistency across campus is a little uneven. It is not all the same for the entire school."
