"At kickapoo if you don't play sports, you dont matter. So its really hard for the kids who don't play sports who have to pay out of pockets to do the things they want to like spanish club because the pta is only raising money for the teams and groups that generate money back and make the school look great. Not the kids who actually are bettering the world. I have had a lot of terrible experiences with some teachers one told me my freshman year that I was going to end up worthless and amount to nothing. In response to that I asked for an apology was told I was back talking and got in school suspension for two days. So to say my time at this school has been the best is a flat out lie. The teachers don't care if you miss days because you were sick or your family member died, but if you're missing class to score points then you might as well be a king. My best experiences so far have been taking a spanish class with Senora Wyrick. She has taught me, by far, the most about the world and life than any teacher in my life time. I know I can always go to her amd that she genuinely cares about her students."

"There are a lot of classes that you can take but mostly kids just take the to make colleges want them. We get graded on anything from tests, notes, presentations, orginization, and vocabulary, to creativity. When in reality the pleasure of the class falls onto the teacher and how they act with the students who are distracting"

"Honestly, most kickapoo teachers are in it for the paycheck. I think a vast majority of the teachers went in with a can do caring attitude, but as time has gone on they stopped caring. A lot of the teachers are boring, they don't care about their students, and they teach things that have no actual purpose on real life. Out of the three years that I have been going to kickapoo I have a total of 2 teachers who have given a damn about their students on more than a you missed assignments and have to make up work level."
