"Throughout high school I saw Catholic go from having teachers who went above and beyond to having 75% of teachers who just don't care. I believe the Alumni and school donors have truly ruined this school. It went from a place of practicing the catholic religion to a place where donors need to be recognized every chance possible. The Catholic religion does not comply with what is being taught at Springfield Catholic. For instance the O'Reilley sign is bigger than the schools name on the building. Anyone who sincerely cared about the education of these students wouldn't feel the need to be constantly idolized and worshipped. They even went so far to have a mass and an assembly thanking God for giving us the O'Reilley's. On top of the tuition at Catholic being much higher than other Catholic schools a majority of the parents feel the need to donate so that their name will be handed out in a book stating the amount they donated. The really sad part about this is how the donated money is being used on things like Chrome books and a 10 million dollar gym which we already had instead of paying for better teachers. You will see teachers come straight out of college aspiring to change students futures to not trying whatsoever because the pay is almost 10,000 less than that of public schools. Many teachers are also highly inappropriate. They get off topic so easily. Throughout high school girl students in particular with a teacher making very sexual comments. After several parents were made aware and it was reported the administration did nothing of it but have him apologize in which he said "Oh what you can't take a joke?" After talking with many of my peers we can all say the same thing. None of us were prepared for college nor ready for real world situations."

"This school might as well be in Nazi Germany because it's very discriminating and uptight. If your family has money, then you'll be fine, but if not you might as well start studying because your social life will not be existent. Some "teachers" are horrible and don't provide a suitable learning environment, others are decent, but not great. Basically, once you have a reputation from teachers, it is almost impossible to change and they all treat you poorly."

"They have had problems manning a few AP classes in the past; which just kills it for the students affected, but for the most part teachers at SCHS are engaging and preparing students for the future."
