"There is very little diversity. The students have very little talents, save for few. Because there are less than 100 students in the whole school, there is very little meaningful exchange of different set of thinking. The students who are passionate about (or even slightly interested in) learning are mocked or ridiculed as "nerds." Grade inflation encourages students who are truly smart from standing out. The students are very callous about religion. Every student is forced to go to masses frequently even if he or she is not a Catholic. Less than a quarter of the students actually sing in mass, and the priest hates coming to Imac to give mass. I would never come to this school again if I could do it all over. I heard that Imac used to be a great school in the past; but the school is a sinking ship. It is anticipated that the school will close in the next ten years... do not go here."

"The teachers are very bad. The teachers are very oppressive and distrustful toward students. Their grading styles are very biased, and many teachers are verbally imprecise in their teaching. Teachers do not engage students to learn, and they make students lose interest in school and academics. Teachers play favoritism all the time, and some teachers know less than some students who are smart. Most teachers do not create their own tests; they reuse tests from past years or simply look up tests online. Because of this, students can pretty much look up answers for tests online or ask for tests from past students. The sad result is that the practice of teachers encourage students to cheat all the time. Few teachers seem to know this fact, but that is a reality. I HATE this school."

"Recently, Immaculata has gotten the use of the 2-in-1 Laptops. They are both laptops and touch screen devices almost like IPads. The teachers use technology in the classrooms every day, are very engaging with all types of learners in every classroom. Each teachers teaches to the best of their ability and are very knowledgeable on each subject that they teach. The teachers each have a different teaching style, but are all accurate for each type of student, whether it be visual, hands-on learning, or listening, to stay focused and learn something new every day. The grading scale is much stricter than that of the public schools around the area, and equip students to face the college world and world beyond that with its higher obligations. Also, teachers are always available to the students any time that they may have a question, inside and outside of the classroom. The school only has 85 kids in it this year and so the teachers get a lot of 1-on-1 time with every student. The school is like a giant family that is willing to learn, accept one another's uniqueness and use it as an advantage in the classrooms, during extracurricular activities, and also later in life."

"The teachers at Imac are not that great. Don't get me wrong, there are a few teachers that, after graduating, I realized how valuable they actually were back in the good old days. But, for the most part teachers average about two or three years before either being fired or having such bad problems with the school's administration that they're forced to leave. Then after the teachers leave/fired they are often replaced with teachers that were fired at their previous position and Imac is their last option. There is a quite large gap between the length of time teachers have been at IHS. For example, if said teacher has not been at Imac for at least 15-20 years then they have probably only been there for 2. But these tenured teachers are actually very good and prepared me extremely well for college. So, because of these teachers, I can't say that Imac's teaching staff was a total train wreck."

"The teachers at Immaculata truly care about each one of the students and do their best at making sure the students achieve success. Teachers keep the students knowledgeable of their grades and any upcoming tests and also strive to make sure all homework is turned in. The teachers at Immaculata incorporate all different types of teaching styles into the curriculum in order to suit all students needs and so all students have experience with all types of teaching methods. I feel that the teachers at Immaculata do a really great job at preparing all of the students for college."
