"We have a program known as the College and Career Center which gets students from every grade level to become college ready. Over 3 million dollars in scholarships were given to students in the year of 2015. We take college courses given to us for free. And different types of awards for different types of academic achievement. The workload is reduced to where at least 2 pages of homework are given to take home a few times a week. This way, students are able to stay after school whenever they need to. Students are also able to choose the classes that they find suitable to them."

"I dedicate most of my time and all of my effort into being a noble student at Washington High School. This is a school who takes pride in it's colors and it's name. We have the most superlative band in my school district. I, of course am not a participant of the band, but there are so many sports and extracurricular activities. This motivates students to make sure they keep their grades up and stay on track. The clubs are quite fascinating. Battle of the Books is hands down the best club to attend. The reason why I like Washington High school is because I am able to college classes for free! Yes, my school offers free college classes. I definitely want to graduate from high school to further my education so I do not intend on coming back to Washington. If I did it all over again though, I'd make sure I rank top 3rd in my class. I recommend this school for younger kids that I come in contact with."

"The majority of kids here at Washington High school are actively involved in socializing with other students. There is also a relatively high amount of students who trust their peers into pushing them to go to class. Since the school year started, We have had students from India and Syria. Kids are from Asian countries and just all around the world. Not only is this school very diverse, but every kid is accepted. Bullying is not tolerated and it is not something that is in force. There was this program in 2015 where all the kids with disabilities and in special ed attended a ceremony called Be A Star. They would get on stage and be honored with plaques of a star. It was a beautiful ceremony. The next day all around the school kids were wearing Be A Star t- shirts. I am well reserved but I can be able to make friends with a Caucasian or Korean or African American in two minutes. We are all together here at Washington. Yes, there will be confrontations and conflict arising with some students. But we have all learned to accept and forgive."

"The teachers that currently attend Washington High school are eager to make sure that every student excels. Although, I will admit that the minority of teachers try harder than others. From observing my International College Algebra class, the teacher enforces the rule of the classroom effectively. As soon as students sit in their seat, they get to work. The teacher is a well educated and admirable teacher. However, not every lesson is understood. My school offers a variety of extra credit opportunities, making sure every student is on track in the grading process. The subjects held in tests are constantly reviewed every week engaging students to learn and try harder. Just about every teacher currently working in the classrooms help students to not only become civilized and ameliorated, but also teaches students critical thinking skills so that they can be able to adapt to the world as they further their education."

"I came from a different school, Leavenworth High School, where parents were really engaged and the rules were followed and student didn't tend to be ignorant and actually cared about school and attended but here at Washington a lot of parents don't care what their kids do so they don't listen and they miss behave."
