"Overall, I thought Manhattan High School was an excellent school based on my years there. The academics are very prestigious and almost always lead to positive results in the students. The teachers and staff are friendly and for the most part have the students in mind when teaching. In many classes, the teachers would actually sculpt their teaching style to student preferences(group activities or individual work), which I though was very accommodating. They do however have a tendency to run out of food in the cafeteria during the second lunch period but I have read that this concern is being addressed. Other than this, good things always come to mind when I talk about MHS. Definitely highly recommended by a former student."

"I like the variety of challenging courses available for students to take. It would be very beneficial if more opportunities for academic competition or activities (such as Chemistry Olympiad, etc) were made available by the faculty."

"I love this school all that needs to change is the leaky roof lol. The teachers are the best in the whole district. We have lots of arts and clubs. Also a whole bunch of sports."

"When I attended the school I was scared at first I did not expect to have this friendly teachers greet me and also be friends. They were not your average teachers they would actually take the time for you to get to know you and help you with any problems or any situations. But the downsides were the food was not very appetizing nor good but the lunch ladies made sure to brighten your day. The other downside was you were always dealing with your schedule through the whole year of everything going wrong and nothing ever right nothing went smooth. The safety was really bad when I was there I can name the times of some situations that happen but it's to long. But all in all my experience there is something I will never forget I did love going to school there teachers made me want to come to school and learn and study and every day was also different never the same."
