"I had a wonderful time attending this school. I made really great friendships and had unique life experiences. The Christmas dinner was my favorite part of attending Wakefield High School, along with the schoolwide secret santa. The school is a very close knitt family envirnoment. However, it can be extremely click-like at times. I would choose Wakefield again because over the years, the people became a second family."

"Some of the teachers are extremely passionate about the students and the kind of education they are giving them. Mr. Freeman, Mr. Keating, Mr. Steppe, Mrs. Hammond, and Ms. Fowler are the best teachers at that school. They push the students to give their best and succeed. They are actively invoved with the students education and character development. The worst is the English department. Your child will gain nothing out of taking English. The teacher is terrible at grading on time and communicating. She does not do a good job of teaching the students. If your child can, have them take Comp I and II their senior year. Other than that the rest of the teaching staff is great."

"There is no diversity at this school. The people are welcoming. However, their jokes can often be insulting to people with more liberal views. The students and very small town, conservative, and country."

"I feel that this school is behind on learning. The teachers are teaching students strictly from the books that are 20 years old. There are some teachers who really don't care about grading or developing young minds for the future, they just want to get the day over with and go home. I will have to say there are a few outstanding teachers that Wakefield has acquired, who truely enjoy and are passionate about their jobs."

"While I did not enjoy all of my time at Wakefield, it taught me to become a more understanding person and to really appreciate the people in my life. I'm a military brat and moved to this school in the 8th grade, my parents did the math and it turned out Wakefield was the 12th school I had attended since the 1st grade. Moving around quite a bit was hard on me and I never realized why that was until I moved here, because I never tried to make friends at my other schools, because I knew I'd just move a way in a year so what would be the point? That's one thing I would never trade or give back and made my expirience worth wild, actually having friends who are always there for you!"
