"The school's administration is very caring and devoted and they try their best to make high school a fun, educational, pleasant, and sufficiently preparatory experience. In agreement with other reviewers, the extracurricular options could use quite a bit of work and the pressure to be religious can be suffocating at times, but that's to be expected with a Catholic school. They are accommodating to students with disabilities (to a certain, degree, of course, and provided that the accommodations don't disrupt other students) and do an amazing job of genuinely caring about students' medical/special needs and, even better, their feelings and dignity. I do think the pressure/stress/workload can be significantly improved, but that's a problem I have with the American school system as a whole, not just this facility. The administration does well with making every student feel included, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the students themselves. However, this, too, is to be expected with an all-girl high school. In sum, the teachers are (mostly) phenomenal, the administration is strict but caring, the religious aspect is admirable in theory but can be stifling/irritating in practice, the faculty and staff are friendly and accommodating, and the teachers and administration work hard to make Ursuline a second home for us, including concerted efforts to eradicate bullying/catty behavior and encourage a feeling of sisterhood and family amongst the students. The all-girl aspect has made the experience more comfortable and encouraged a more realistic view of female beauty standards, and there is an extremely tight-knit, intimate atmosphere that is pleasant and supportive."

"I love Rally at school. The whole school comes together and has a friendly competition between classes. It is a great time!! My school is unique in that it is the oldest catholic girls school in the United States."

"A vast majority of the teachers are intelligent, qualified, hard-working, and care deeply about us and our futures. They are, for the most part, fun, engaging, friendly, and able to relate to us on a peer level whilst maintaining our respect and command of the classroom environment. I would gladly associate with most of my teachers after high school and consider them to be friends in certain respects."

"I have had no problems with the teachers at my school. Some are more easy to talk too then others; but for the most part they are fine and helpful."

"One thing that has been consistent throughout my entire high school experience at Ursuline, not necessarily for my middle school experience, was the ability to easily have a relationship with my teachers. Every single one of my teachers, with the exception of a handful which may also be due to their inexperience or my personal dislike of the class they were teaching, I have been able to have a personal relationship with, and feel completely comfortable in their classrooms. Ursuline should pride themselves in their faculty, as they are able to be both friendly and professional with their students, making students look forward to their class and look forward to learning more in their class. I cannot speak for the rest of my peers for their relationships with their teachers, but I soon discovered that you must simply have respect, show interest and participate even in the slightest to be able to develop the kinds of relationships I have. All teachers' goals should be to teach their students in an efficient and engaging way, and I believe that most of the teachers I have had during my high school time have met those requirements."
