"We gave 3 daughters at MHS. We moved to this area from New Orleans for the public school system. We have not been disappointed. MHS is definitely for those who are academically minded. It offers good classes for all levels, and a student body of middle to upper-middle class families, with college an expected "next step" for students. Vast number of clubs, activities, and sports. For those that feel there are "snobby" students: I don't see it. We are middle-income, and a large family, and we find our kids making friends at all social-economic levels. Kids do look down on the "druggies" and let's face it: It's high school. We love the area, the school system, and the future prospects for our children."

"I love this school. I am a junior at mandeville right now and I am so glad I decided to come to this school. This is an acidemically great school that challenges students to do their best. It offers gifted programs, ap classes, honors, and on-level classes. They have great sports; the football team won district this past year, and we have great school spirit. There are some problems with drugs and snobiness. But, there is no way to get past this if living in the mandeville area. This is definitely a better school than Fontainebleau High School, seeing as though we have less students (easier learning environment) and we are more academically challenged. I would definitely recommend this school for anyone."
