"This school over all has become packed. Too many people have moved in around the school to be able to fit into it. My child is special needs and has been going here for 4 years. Their are new students being placed into this school almost every week. Teacher staff is professional and good but do not expect a lot of one on one attention even from sped teachers or the aids. A lot of things go unnoticed, ex, bullying, accidents, etc. The school has improved since it has gotten a new principal but they need more staff and buildings to accomadate the students as well. Parent involment goes as far as raising money for PTO. If you feel like having an extra job this is the school for you. If you feel like being afraid of calling the school to have a rude person yap your ear of or go into the office and have office staff be rude to you then this is the school for you. Upsides - professional well educated staff, nice, clean new school, money from PTO (parents) to spend on new equipment for school. Good therapists."

"I wittnessed an office staff member yelling at a teacher on duty, I cant beleive someone would do ths in front of the kids and parents tat are there, that staff member is not happy with themselves they should remain home!! !f you don't like your job go some place else, the school is for our children and they need to endure happiness!!! The office staff at Gallet are unfriendly and NEVER NEVER have a smile!!! Very disappointed with the leadership of this school for not seeing what so many parents wittness EVERY TIME we are in the office!!! Please see if you as a s hook board member or leadership status could fix this problem!!! They need social skills!!!"

"My first experience was when this school first opened.... I enjoyed those five years however this time around, I have been treated quite rudely by the front office on every visit by the same employee ... Even during the registration of my kindergarten child, I cant imagine someone has that many "bad days" ... If this is an indication of how my next 6 years will go here... I am NO LONGER impressed and will be registering a complaint with the school board the next time and everytime this employee is rude. If an employee cant manage the social skills to interact with adults I really dont want them to interact with my child on any level. I have talked to other parents and have yet to find one that hasnt been spoken to rudely. Im rating principal leadership the problem, for not knowing this goes on in office beside his!"

"We moved to Youngsville specifically for the kids to attend the schools in this district. Today was the first day for the girl Kindergarteners. I found my child's teacher to one of warmth, openness, and intelligence. Her credentials were more than satifactory and I could see she truly enjoyed being a teacher. The kids immediately took to the teacher. As for the staff, I was met with nothing less than tremendous smiles and helpful attitudes. I was on campus for more than three hours. I am truly looking forward and am excited for my daughters first year at Ernest Gallet. So far this school has lived up to everything I've heard and more."
