"It is a nice suzed school; about 800 kids. You meet a lot of people and make a lot of friends. The academics are phenomanol. "A" Grade school. Variety of AP courses with dedicated teachers on staff. My favorite extracurricular is FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). We meet every Thursday during Lunch and Officer meetings are Tuesday mornings. We also throw some of the best plays. I have experienced Grease, Beauty and the Beast, and Wizard of Oz. I have been elected drama club co-captain and am pumped for our Senior play. One of the best experiences from being a part of this school is that I was allowed to job shadow the principal, Mrs. Howe, for a day. I made fliers mocking student council elections with the alaby of interning. My principal loved the posters and called me in for an interview. Within a minute I had a job, and the next day was the start and end of my career as principal. Just some of the experiences at a great small town school!"

"My experience at Benton high school is wonderful. Benton is full of loving people. At Benton, even though we have to wear uniforms, we can express ourselves, without being judged. Benton is also an A ranked school, the top school in Shreveport/Bossier, Louisiana. The faculty has a lot to do with our test score, without the style of the teaching teachers provide for all of the smart and talented students, our school would not be where it is today. Benton High School have many interactive activities for all students. Different types of clubs are offered by staff and are also student lead so we have the ability to interact with each other the way would like. Multiple sports are also offered at Benton High School, and everyone is loving and welcoming to those who are either new to the sport or school. Overall, I think Benton deserves a 5 star rating because of the great environment students and staff are in."

"The school has a very friendly environment. The teachers and faculty are pretty friendly. The only thing I don't like about the school is how they handle discipline, for example, one student starts the fight the other doesn't do anything and waits for a teacher, they both get sent to the office then the final decision is that both get detention for being involved."

"Benton High School is a great place to go for academics. According to the Department of Education, Benton has an A on it's report card. Though it is a terrific place to learn, the diversity of the school is quite the opposite of diverse, there aren't many students. Despite the size, this school is a wonderful place to attend."

"I love the ROTC program and the academics are great just wish there were more opportunities for diversity within the classes and at home"
