"This is our first year at John Ross after many years at a private school. We are so impressed! The teachers are all extremely professional and seem to enjoy teaching and the kids. They communicate with parents and let you know whats going on, good and bad. The principal and staff are exceptionally helpful even in conflict situations. They seem very proactive on the behavior issues that occur at every school. They dont wait.. they take action immediately. Even though this school is fairly large, it doesnt feel like it. The curruculum plans are well thought out and each grade has an overall plan where the teachers work as a team. We are happy to get get feedback on how our children are developing as compared to national edcuation standards. They intervene when a child is struggling and give them the extra asisstance needed. They challenge the kids who are above grade level to keep them engaged. Every time we walk into the school, we are greeted with friendliness and courtesy. Parents are welcomed into the classrooms and there are always lots of parents there - helping out. We couldn't ask for a better program. Thank You John Ross Teachers and Staff. You are Great!"

"John Ross is undergoing some growing pains this year due to much needed renovations. Half of the school was renovated over the summer and it is absolutely gorgeous! My kids were thrilled with the new classrooms. The administration and teachers are attentive and are doing a wonderful job. My kids are challenged and love going to school!"

"I love John Ross! I am a graduate student in education and love that John Ross is using Response to Intervention, Professional Learning Communities and many of the recommendations I'm studying in my graduate classes. My child loves his teachers and learning! Teachers and staff are very professional."

"This is our first year at John Ross but love it so far we have had no falling outs and the kids seem to all be well adjusted unlike our boys old school who had lots of bullying and the teachers screamed and yelled all the time treating them like they were in prison or boot camp. John Ross is a breath of fresh air compared and they have learned so much. I don't know why any parent would be griping about not having homework???? That just shows the teachers are doing there jobs and helping the kids get it done at school and not overloading them, its a good thing that we aren't having to do the teachers jobs."
