"It's great . The amount of support many of our parents give the students . Not only do they work extremely hard to provide us with our needs , but they attend our pep-rallies and special school events ."

"I would want to do it all over again to be involved in many more things and experience more. Have my parents be involved in the school community as well."

"If I could go back and do things differently, and what part of my high school experience would I do all over? I would say all of it, I would be more involved in my school clubs and organizations. I would engage more with teachers instead of shying away, and giving up. I would be more open with my mother so I could have more support towards pursuing college. I can't say I have much memorable experiences because I chose to do activities outside of school, which led me o becoming pregnant in my senior year. Therefore, I didn't get to enjoy my senior year. I had to work to pay my graduation cap and gown, I didn't get to attend prom, or other senior events that were planned. My senior year consisted of getting prepared for motherhood. Instead of college like others, I always encourage students do the most you can at school so that nothing stops you from placing your dreams on hold."

"In my period of time at Jefferson High School , i have come to a conclusion that many of the staff and teachers lack passion for their jobs . They often complain and create a sort of sympathy for their own situations. The teaching is not the best, and many of then lack the enthusiasm. Maybe if they had a better attitude , they would make a better enviorenment for the students . However, from my four years in this school , I have encountered a couple who are over achievers and really show the love for their own jobs . These teachers really represent the qualities a good teacher should have . They listen to every students ideas, are consistent with grading practices, engage in the lessons and so on ; creating a better educational system"

"Some teachers go above and beyond what they are supposed to do but !any teachers lack enthusiasm. Many teachers go because it is their job not their passion. Other teacher care for students and participate as much as they can encouraging students."
