"My years spent at my high school has been challenging. When I first started walking in as a freshman I was concerned on what changes needed to be made to make me successful. After years have passed, I have reached my senior year by learning that I have taken responsible for my actions to help me achieve my goals in life. High school has taught me many life learning lessons and of course, education. I hope to further expand my knowledge by going to a near college that my teachers are stressing their students because over the years they have seen the students grow up and want them to keep achieving."

"It is a good school and the staff cares deeply for their students. The grades could be a little higher but some students don't care as much as others do"

"I have been a student here at Mineola High School since kindergarden. Mineola High School has almost been like another home to me. My school is filled with loving people that only want you to be completely and utterly successful in academics and in life in general. There's great staff, and the overall environment of this school is amazing. There has been dramatic changes since my freshman year all the way to my senior year. These changes are mostly in the schedule. It went from eight classes a day to a new flex mod schedule. Personally, I enjoyed the eight classes a day because I just learned better that way. That would be the only change I would make for this school."

"I liked how the school has its schedule this year and the dress code.I also like how diverse the school is. I would like to see more clubs and organizations. Also I would like to see the school add more electives. And have us take more notes. And in science i would like to have more hands on experiments with a lot of more detail. They should have more foreign language classes than just a Spanish course. The school should add more agriculture classes."

"My experience has been well-rounded I guess. The teachers, coaches, and principals try to get us all involved as a "team" but I don't believe it really works. This school is unique because we are trying out a new college campus schedule. Some of the people are excelling at this but others are not. The school is focused on the majority of the students, but for those who are different they fall behind. I don't feel this is what's best for ALL of the students."
