"I love all the individual attention that was provided by the teachers. It was a great opportunity to truly grasp the understanding of everything I had questions or an uneasy feeling about. I would like to see more elective classes come along in the future."

"My three years at Oakwood High School has been a memorable experience. While I was there I learned the most important thing in life and that it never give up. I experienced unfairness at the school however, I understand that everything is not going to always be fair, I used the situation to make me better. I pushed myself to do better and to be better to achieve a goal of being valedictorian of my class. My school is not perfect, in fact, if there is anything I would change about my school it would be the dress code. I personally believe that for children to grow in a learning environment they must be comfortable. I don't think that piercings or tattoos should be shown but i do think that my school could be more lenient with the dress code."

"I have had both children and grandchildren in this school for over 15 years . Everyone knows everyone and it is very nurturing environment from elementary to high school. Ms Rayborn is an awesome influence on children and students alike. Am blessed that we are in Oakwood ISD. Dual credit courses prepare them for college. Relationships are formed for life. It's a real community not just a school."
