"The school can be very challenging and even overwhelming at times. I loved the school and was very fortunate to attend and graduate there as a part of the class of 2016. My teachers pushed me to go above and beyond in anything I do and I was able to apply that to the course that I take in college and any other future endeavors."

"As a junior of Carnegie, I've been here for a good three years and as of now the way things are being run within in the school is pretty fine. We have a very strong student based administration who primarily focus on the importance of providing food, money and more activities for the students. The teachers here at Carnegie tend to go above and beyond to help each individual student to obtain the necessary education that is provided towards them and our administration does a great job of a tackling school issue: cheating, bullying and dealing with outside disturbances. The only thing that I would like to see change is a more diverse amount of students, because as of now there are are only a few African American and Hispanic students pre grade"

"Many teachers do not know what they are doing in class. The school forces you to take college level classes without choice on your behalf. Many courses are particularly challenging to make an A in, even though the student is fully prepared to make a 5 on the AP exam. The school is just unnecessarily hard and students are not happy. The rankings you receive is terrible and your gpa looks bad on transcripts. The students may be college prepared but the grades and rankings do not look good at all on college applications."

"Only honors and advanced placement classes are available with few exceptions (Yearbook, sports, spirit, etc). Furthermore, everyone is required to take 4-5 core classes each year and at least two years of a language is required (3 is strongly recommended, 4 would be the best). Essentially, you are allowed few classes you'd want to take for yourself. A typical freshman schedule would look like: AP Human Geo, Pre-AP Geometry, Pre-AP English I,"

"Carnegie is great if you love to learn and are planning on going to a graduate program later. You most likely won't be able to get into Ivy leagues, but if you are passionate about learning, you'll end up somewhere great."
