"I personally love St John's School. The teachers are superb and the school itself is beautiful. The students are taught skills for studying as well as social skills to help excel in life. Don't apply for the school if you are not outgoing and won't bring something great to the St John's family. You won't enjoy being the normal person at a school filled with"crazies". The only thing I would fix is their diversity level. There are mostly Caucasians and Asians. There are about 5 African Americans and 3 Latin/Hispanics per grade."

"This is a wonderful school. I learned so much as a result of being a student at this school: time management, writing skills, studying habits, work habits, multi-tasking, etc.. This school is very challenging and is most definitely not for everyone. If you are a forward-looking student who wants to excel and push yourself, then this is the type of school you should dream of. You are surrounded by incredibly intelligent teachers, overall faculty, and a very caring student body. This is a fantastic place to grow and learn, and I wouldn't trade the four years I spent at this school for anything."

"St. John's is truly a wonderful school. As it is only my second year here, I cannot say much about the school, but so far everything has been absolutely wonderful. The "St. John's experience" is truly alive. There is a strong sense of community here, and there is everything for everyone, whether you're into athletics, the fine arts, or the academics. The reputation of St. John's really holds, you have to work hard to progress and stand out, but it is worth it if you use the school correctly. The teachers are really great as well; they take the time out of their day to work with you if you take the initiative to schedule a tutorial. The fine arts department at St. John's is equally as great as well. If you're looking for a school that challenges your academic ability with some of the most supportive classmates and teachers, St. John's is the place for you."

"Small class sizes with a rigorous curriculum. The teachers are dedicated to student achievement and will meet students during tutorials to assist. The small size makes the student body very close and tight knit, which can make it hard to fit in sometimes, but overall this is a great school with a good support system."

"I have really loved my experience at St. John's. Even though the school has a reputation for being stressful and competitive, the administration is definitely aware of that and makes a concerted effort to mitigate students' stress. The administration and my teachers always work with me when I find myself struggling; I never feel like I'm fighting against them. I value the low student to teacher ratio and I honestly think that that is the best part about SJS and a strong case for justifying the price tag. Being able to have teachers who know more than just my name and who actually know me personally has made my desire and love and affinity to learning drastically grow over my last seven years here."
