"Overall, MacArthur Senior High School has been a sensational and wonderful school when it comes to academics. Majority of the teachers have a strong passion to teach and they do a remarkable job to motivate their students to strive for the best. The teachers leave a long-lasting, positive impression which is something not all teachers can do. The only down side I see to the school is that there are many restrictions relating to the dress code and not enough free time. Other than that, I wouldn't mind going to the school again."

"I enjoy the way the teachers care about the students. They really want us to be the bets we can be. Ms.Ego is one of the best teachers there. She deserves a raise if I am going to be completely honest."

"First things first, Mac 9 is very strict. I'd say that overall that was my worst year of high school. On the other hand, BigMac is a bit more laid back. Some pros would be that SOME teachers actually do care about you and actually want to be your friend in the classroom and not just an instructor. Also that they have DualCredit/Ap classes students can take. The cons would be that the school is very unsanitary, some halls still have the old restroom stalls which are 4 feet tall, I saw 3 big rats walking down the hallway and also in the classroom in the very same week. I got diarrhea from those morning biscuits that they give in the carts for breakfast. The dress code is ridiculous, some teachers don't even teach or bother getting up from their desk and the only reason that they still have their job is that they have been working there for years. Although it is a public school, there should be some changes made."

"MacArthur High School is great with providing whatever supplies that are required to students. For example, most students are lucky enough to have their own chrome book in each class. I would like to see more effort in social events at the school. I would love to have a homecoming dance or a winter formal, or just more school pride in general. However that being said, the environment at MacArthur is excellent, most people in the school are willing to help out others."
