"Great school with excellent teachers. It has great people who are very sociable as well as they work together to accomplish the mission at the end!"

"I agree with what some people are saying. The new teachers have very little experience. Some teachers can't spell. Academic program is supposed to be individualized, but it's not unless you constantly nag the teachers to do something. And they spend less time on smart kids and give more time to students who are behind. Makes me wonder what did I pay so much for. My child was bored out of her mind. They accept any students as long as parents have enough money to pay. I don't plan to re-enroll my child next year. I rate this school at average, but I think it's definitely losing its reputation."

"I went to The Village School for a couple years. As mentioned in many other reviews, the student/teacher ratio is very high. The schools isn't very diverse as claimed. Although they take pride in uniqueness, the students aren't very accepting. I never felt accepted by many students. I felt judged because of the people that were my best friends. The dress code seems strongly enforced, but thy are too lax about dress code. Academically, the teachers hardly ever went out of their way to help. Basically if you struggled, the class moved forward. The only option given was tutoring for a fee. The school takes so much pride in theirs athletic department, but the facilities are very limited. I also did not enjoy my time on any teams or PE. The faculty in that area isn't great. I also think the overnight trips are extremely short and they should be in the middle of the year. However on the positive side I did have some memorable experiences. This school is a hit or a miss."

"I am very disappointed with the school. It seems to be equivalent to an average public school in terms of academics except that you need to pay here. Teachers are very new and inexperienced esp. in 3rd - 5th grades. I came from Californica and was shocked to see such poor academics of a private school. Lower school management has excuse for everything. I will not re-enroll my child again and will not recommend this school."

"It used to be a good school until couple of years back. Most of tecahers are very new to village school and not very experienced in teaching - more fresh out of college or 1-3 years of overall teaching experience. It seems to be on a steady downhill since last couple of years."
