"There are few programs offered at Morton Ranch besides band that see much parent involvement. The Fine Arts department is overlooked, the Athletics department is anemic when it comes to parent support or involvement. Perhaps this explains why Katy High School and Cinco Ranch has so much success. Its a shame to place all of the burden on the faculty."

"I was a student at this school. With that being said, I really loved going here. If you're looking to get automatically accepted into a University of your choosing, this is definitely a school where the standards for top 8% were fairly achievable (I was just out of it by the time I had to send in transcripts), but as long as you try your best, anything is possible. A lot of our great teachers actually left the school to go to Tompkins or other schools around the state or country, but the management is still great and I'm sure the replacements (who were among the teachers that I had over the years) are very well suited to teach the AP courses that lost their respective teachers. The fine arts program is outstanding and improving every year! The only thing that I did not like were the students there. Beyond the AP students and fine arts students, the rest of them were incompetent and very rambunctious, fighting on almost a monthly basis. They also clogged the halls periodically, which is problematic with strict teachers who do not know how to compromise. Otherwise, superb school! Sports were great too. Football team is not 1-10 like they used to be!"

"Morton is a great school to attend. The teachers always contact parents to let them know about the students success. The football program is great as well. The environment is very entertaining here"

"My children are 2011 and 2013 graduates of MRHS. Their teachers had great command of the content being taught, effective and engaging teaching skills, and a sincere interest in their students. The AP program was rigorous, but the the AP test scores were worth it! Their music program is outstanding! Directors for both band and orchestra have done exceptionally well. Both of my children were accepted to the college of their choice. Great teachers prepared them for academic challenges to come! We are so grateful for their time and talents dedicated to the students here."

"i was a student here and graduated class of 2012. the only good things about this school core education wise is the english and social studies division...things we learn in math and science are just some of the things we dont need to know and if a student falls even a little behind in either of these subjects the student will most likely fail the grading period... The school waste to much money on things that are not needed within the sports program like the money to change the morton ranch symbol it cost more for the new prints then the old so the wasteful spending for unneeded changes take money away from the fine arts program making it so the students must use old worn down instruments and limiting the amount of supplies to less then the bare minimum... i was an athlete but it was just unfair how the school focused more on trying to beat Katy high school in sports then focus on what the students wanted or needed..."
