"Their are an abundance of clubs and organizations for kids who want it. We are also the only highschool to offer academies ( innovation and health science) . we offer national honor society, Spanish honor society, French honor society, art honor society, key club, interact club, drone club, etc. Health science and innovation students are a great way to get exposed to a variety of things that regular students do not. Innovation kids get field trip as well as practice engineering skills while health science focuses on the medical field. They learn to take blood, give cpr, etc."

"I think students here are very accepting of sexualities . no one cares if you're gay. I feel like their is a bit of peer pressure for some girls because they all want to look the same. They all want nice hair, makeup looking like it was done by a professional, nice clothes, etc. No one forces you to do it but it is always a temptation. We are mainly a school serving to the Hispanic community and black community. There are very few (3) Asians and not many white people. Some teachers are white but mainly Hispanic. One issue at this sschool is rumors. Rumors fly quick and pretty soon people have stuff on you you didn't even know about."

"After attending this school for 4 years, I have learned tthat few teachers actually like the proffession while others just wanted or needed a job. If your teacher really cares, one can notice right away in the ways they try to help you. Teachers go through a lot of crap and put up with some of the rudest kids. I honestly cannot fathom how terrible the newer generations are, I dont know how they do it. I appreciate the fact that they put up with everyone and stretch their patience often."

"Of course the AP, DC, and Pre-AP classes are the hardest to pass. I honestly dont know anything about the regular classes because I never took any, but its obvious they get less work than the higher level classes. Teachers in the higher level courses want us to succeed and try their best to help us pass with a minimum of a 70. There is this one teacher ,Jorge Murillo, who I personally think he should get fired. I once walked into his class and never again do I want to go back. His kids were sitting at his desk, others were sitting on the lab desks and were eating Im the lab, he has no control. He lets them do what they want and I honestly dont see how they still have him here while letting go of Ms.Lopez"

"Teachers really go the extra mile in order to see their students succeed here. Instructors stay after school or come in early in order to make sure students receive the attention and academic nourishment they need and deserve."
