"My experience at Pomona High School was the best I could have ever ask for. The school spirit is amazing not just from the students but from the whole Pomona community. Although our community is not the wealthiest in the Jefferson County district, Pomona has helped create some of the best athletes and scholars Colorado has ever seen. In the past two years, two Pomona High students have been awarded the Daniels Fund scholarship, which is VERY hard to accomplish. Pomona has also created some of the best athletes Colorado has ever seen and then guided them to some of the best Division 1 schools in the nation. Pomona High School is the place to be."

"Pomona High School is a welcoming and proud environment. The students are diverse and seem happy to be there. The staff is no different. Although, Pomona may be the underdogs we carry twice as much determination, handwork and dignity than any other school. Our arts program is especially flourishing and supported by administration."

"Being at Pomona really gave me a fresh perspective about friendships, school, and responsibility. Coming in as a freshman I had this mindset that I wanted to be a social butterfly, now that I am about to walk out I learned that I really only need a couple close friends. During my middle school years I would procrastinate a lot of my school work and put it off to the last minute, when I stepped into high school I learned that more studying was needed in order to succeed in my classes. I got better at disciplining my self to do my work especially as I started to take more AP classes. Having a better work ethic gave me more responsibility. Making sure that assignments were done on time and I studied when tests came around. I have always been a slower learner do to being severely dyslexic when I was little, and I realized I just needed to work a little harder. I started to stay after school for help and ask as many questions as could during class. My confidence boosted a lot."

"I've enjoyed many aspects of Pomona during my time there. I've had many teachers who genuinely care about their students and will go above and beyond to help them succeed. I've met so many wonderful friends and have made memories with them that I will cherish forever. I've participated in some of the school's activities including National Honors Society, B.I.O.N.I.C. Team (a group focused on creating a positive impact on our school and community), and the marching band. Each of these activities has allowed me to grow in some way. The only pitfall of Pomona is the separation between the groups of people. It's not often that you see people branching out of their original group whether that be the band kids, choir, drama, football team, dance team, or any other. It'd be great if all these groups of people would become more connected as one community and branch out to each other. This would create a more open and accepting environment for everyone in the school."

"I liked the staff and classes. The only thing I didn't like was how some of the students who would cause trouble were not punished enough."
