"The parents of people I have seen don't pay much attention to their kid if they are doing good in high school, and if there grades drop, their parents get on them about grades, but the overall school environment I feel there is pretty garbage."

"The school works well if you can get yourself through high school. If you cant sit through a class or have other problems, it becomes a lot harder to succeed."

"Mountain Vista has equipped me with some great skills for my preferred field of study, but just like many schools, it is on you the student to make the most of your opportunities. However, Mountain Vista did a great job of providing me those opportunities. Clubs are constantly held after school, sports take up every space of field and court, and classes with committed teachers are always nearby. Even the principal is invested in each individual student."

"Our school has an insane amount of spirit. Just this past year, during our Wish Week we granted 12 Wishes through the Make A Wish Foundation and we have several spirit weeks throughout the year. It makes school a little more bearable when all of this spirit is everywhere. At first, in the freshman year, I was terrified of high school because it was so large (I was coming from a small charter school). But, as time as passed, I now love it and wouldn't change schools for the world."

"I believe the teachers at our school are a great representation of 'people'. Many (most all) are dedicated to teaching and helping students to learn despite the fact that they don't get very much pay for their efforts. Many are approachable and funny. While there are some that you would rather not take a class from again, they're not generally bad people and most of the time the teaching and learning styles just clash."
