"Teachers have favorites, they try to hide it but it's noticeable, they still care about every student. Senior teachers do get senioritis along with the seniors though."

"What other high school in Colorado sends students to a corporate office to work? By far the best and most important distinguishing factor."

"Arrupe Jesuit High School does have a great community. Through the school you end up coming out of highschool with a resume better than those of most college students and you are also opened up into the community. The school does a great job of making sure that the students get to participate in the community, but the service is not mandatory which is nice as well since you get to choose what service you would like to do or you do not sign up if you do not wish to do so. I do wish that the school gave more freedom with formal wear, not all dress clothes consists of buttoned up shirts and creased pants. However the school has to follow the demands of the corporate partners which makes sense. The lunch is just not great, a few dishes are but most of the dishes are not nice, the food is also served in trays now which add to the feeling of a juvenile hall in addition to the fence made around the school. Student tutoring and teachers are always available, so it does not really make sense to have grades lower than C at all. I do wish that seventh period was not given, a seventh period is a mandatory period given when a student does not do their homework. Teachers say it is meant to get us into the habit of doing our homework but it really is just tells the student that they do not need to do their homework for the day it is due since they can still get full credit with sevenths. That to me is not college prep at all. This school is okay but do not let your parents just narrow your choices down to Arrupe, if you want the full and actual high school experience, I recommend that you go to a different school."

"This school is ok but now that I am a senior here at Arrupe Jesuit High school the rules kinda changed and the principle has become very strict about short hair and so far he's been only bugging seniors about it."

"I have had a great experience in the Corporate Work Study Program, and I have been exposed to fields to help me narrow down what I would like to do in my life. These job sites are great to begin networking, and build relationships and connections with sponsors. My favorite experience would have to be the Kairos Retreat in the student's Junior year because it is a chance to leave the campus for a few days and spend those days up in Somalia with various classmates and a few teachers. Definitely it is the Corporate Work Study Program that makes this school unique. I would choose this school again for the work-study, however, I feel like the academics could be improved. It should not be necessary to take theology class for four years, and the students should also get more of a variety and more advanced classes. An example of this is, many of the students only get to take Pre-Calc in their senior year."
