"Mead High School is a place where learning is fun and challenging at the same time. Everyone is a family and understands one another and each individuals goals. Mead High School is a growing community and only gets better with each academic year for all activities. It was great to see the softball team exceed and go to the state tournament."

"The parents really aren't the problem most of the time- it's the administration and the relationship they have together. Our administration keeps on making bad changes that make their life easier because they want to be lazy and have admitted that. For example, no schedual changes and no exceptions from now on. Also, only standard and AP classes, no in betweens. I need that in between class! So of course the parents retaliate, and then they get mad at the whole staff, rightly so. This puts a strain on the relationships between the staff and the parents. What we really need is an administration that cares more about doing their jobs."

"Living in one of the smallest towns ever, there is little to no ethnic diversity. Having grown up in LA, this is still a little strange to me. We have one black kid, who we refer to as the one black kid. We don't mean it rasictly, as he doesn't take it as such. Still, it's a pretty white town. Our students are pretty involved, but you have to be to be accepted. What you do your friends do, and because of that are cliques are incredibly cliquey. It's not necessarily a bad thing, as the cliques do tend to get along together, as there's not really very much bullying going on at our school."
