"There are quite a few teachers in this school who genuinely care about their students, and always do their best to provide for the needs of the kids that they teach. There is a lot of support for kids who are struggling, with plenty of tutoring options to choose from. However, there are a few teachers who come across as cold and unapproachable, as well as some teachers who don't live up to my school's supposed creed of acceptance. But for the most part the teachers at my school are hard working and very committed to their jobs."

"The teachers work hard to make sure that students get what they need in the classes. They are very supportive and very understanding and will work with the kids to get them the help that they need."

"My school probably isn't the worst when it comes to this topic, but it isn't great. I've heard a lot of blatant racism, transphobia, and homophobia both in the halls and in the classroom. Most of the time it seems to come from a place of naive ignorance, but sometimes it just comes from a place of hate. Some of the staff try to promote tolerance and acceptance but a lot of the time it's met with eye rolls from students, and there are even some teachers who I know have quite bigoted ideals. As a lesbian student it can be a little intimidating at times, but I never worry about my physical safety. I do sometimes worry about the safety of trans students, however."

"There is quite a bit of diversity in Kelly Walsh, but not more than an average high school of its size."

"The academics aren't bad for a small town high school. The teachers work hard and there are plenty of classes to choose from. Some of the more popular classes get filled up quickly, and some of the teachers teach multiple classes so there are only so many students that can enroll in a class. It's kind of a race to sign up to classes when the semester is nearing it's end. But all in all, it's a quality education."
