"My school is very small with only about 40 students in the entire high school. Students are a mix of white and Hispanic for the most part. The atmosphere is very accepting and laid back. We get along and know each other well. One of the hardest challenges for students I believe is speaking clear English. Many of our students are more fluent in Spanish. We do have cliques but everyone at one point or another interacts and works with each other because the school is so small. There is not a lot of peer pressure and the students and staff are kind and willing to accept others' interest and hobbies. The student involvement is improving lately which makes going to school a lot more enjoyable."
