"There were so many great options for clubs and classes and activities that no one had time to do it all. Everyone could be included in at least one activity or club that was perfect for them. My first year there, one of our students passed away and the whole school mourned together and we supported each other through that extremely hard time. I have never been to a school with that much unity and support. If I could go through Junior High again I would definitely go back."

"No school is going to be perfect because all schools are ran by people and people are never perfect. Even so, most every teacher and staff member here tries their best and never gives up on the students. Most of the teachers take on extra responsibilities to help students individually and help organize clubs. This school really helped me to prepare for high school and I will be forever grateful for everyone there."

"I had some teacher's who really cared and were willing to help with whatever it was. I had some that I was never afraid to ask questions, or share an opinion. Then I had teachers that were a few years from retirement and were just awful. They hated us. Some were almost afraid to stand up to us, and couldn't control their classrooms. Some teacher's demanded respect, but were very rarely given it by the majority of the class. Other's picked clear favorites. It's a mess, and I'm pretty sure all the teacher's that I actually liked have left."

"It's a mostly hispanic filled school. It's hard, because whenever a fight broke out, the kids would pull the race card, claiming that the teachers were only upset because "They were brown/Mexican." And that was very difficult to deal with, especially as students who saw the bad things they were doing, and the teacher's not being able to deal with it due to them playing the race card. Students skipped classes, often even just loitering in the bathrooms to avoid classes. Some girl said mean things about me, to me, in gym. There were constant streams of inappropriate jokes. I sat in front of some kid who would blow up condom's like balloons and play with them. Ton's of graffiti problems. It's a bad school."
