"The school is not very engaging, clubs exist but are underfunded and the only extracurricular activities that can go do things out of school are the sports teams. The performing arts program and other non athletic clubs rarely have access to school vans and buses (which, is the only way to have trips with your club) and it is extremely hard to get fundraising approved for your club. The curriculum taught is alright, but it seems like all we learn is based around the AzMerit and AIMS tests."

"Best four years of my life. The band, marching band and jazz band courses had such an incredible impact on me. It helped me develop as a musician and as a person. I learned to express myself better because of how outgoing students were at our athletic events. I met some of the greatest and some of the worst people who bullied me, but who also helped mold me into the confident person I am today. I loved how encouraging my AP English teacher was whenever we were getting ready to take the national AP exams. It made me feel so confident. My government teacher made me feel like I could actually make a difference in my community and my math teacher taught me to not let other people, even teachers, bring me down because of what I believed in."

"They do enough for us to pass the tests and graduate. But that's about as far as it goes."

"Teachers with more teaching experience teach with a variety of different methods while the newer one's stick to the book method, which leaves half of the class very lost. Government teachers seem to listen to students' opinions so much more than any other types of teachers. They are very engaged in the lesson and go above and beyond what's expected to ensure that students are aware of real-world issues."

"Teacher at Central high bring an optimistic atmosphere into the room every morning. Their exceptional patience makes it simple for students to grasp key material and stay focused in their lectures."
