"Mvt is a great school. A lot of mormons go here, but its a great way to make new friends, learn new things and start a better school year. They help the best way they can. Just try and focus on school and sports rather than the clicks."

"Overall, Mountain View is a great high school. Many AP classes were offered, and most of the teachers for AP classes thoroughly prepared students for the AP test. I personally earned several college credits by the time I graduated. The administration is dedicated to all parts of school life; they do not ignore (or favor one over the others) academics, sports, arts and music, or other extra curricular activities. All that being said, the experience a student has in a class or activity is largely dependent on the teacher. Although Mountain View has many great teachers, there are several that are not so great. From both personal experience and those of my close friends, there are some teachers, particularly in the advanced classes and music departments, that treat students poorly and are allowed to continue to do so because they produce the test scores and trophies that the school wants."

"I would like to see them concentrate on struggling students instead of just the smart ones. It was a good school for me but my brother really struggled. My asian niece also really struggles and she is actually academically smart."

"My experience at Mountain View High School was pretty good. They had a good academic program, a great sports program, and a wonderful music program. The administration cared for the students, although, because it had a large population there was not much interaction. Overall, a great school :)"

"I have really enjoyed myself at Mountain View. The school is held to a very high standard in Arizona, so students have lot of expectation to live up to. I feel the school has pushed me in my studies and I couldn't have become the successful student I am without Mountain View. My teachers have all been rigorous yet helpful. My only concern is that I was always surrounded by students like myself, academically advanced and I feel that I don't have an understanding of how the college atmosphere will be, however I feel more than prepared for the work load ahead of me."
