"UHS is a supportive community, which makes excelling in a rigorous curriculum attainable. The help of the counseling staff has been invaluable in my college search, and I have always had support if I needed help with academics. The curriculum is challenging, and students have to be willing to put in extra work to be successful, which ensures that almost everyone is there because they want to be there. As a free college prep school, I believe that University High School has given me a truly one of a kind experience, and I couldn't be happier with it."

"University High School isrigorous when it comes to academics. All classes are either honors or advanced placement. The teachers are phenomenal, but you need to be prepared to have a lot of homework and dedicate a lot of time to school."

"This is my first year in UHS, as i moved cross country freshman year. The teachers are beyond empathetic, challenging, interactive, and flexible with schedules in case you need to make up tests or quizzes. The work load is definitely not admirable if you plan on receiving a diploma with no academic effort. You learn how to manage time and beneficial study methods. Socially I found it almost questionably easy to make friends, as UHS kids are a unique breed of kind and open-minded students that I have yet to see others surpass."

"University High School offers an incredible community of like-minded, academically driven individuals. Everyone unites under the same goal of pursuing their education, and fighting for a better tomorrow. The counselors and teachers are very understanding and compassionate, and work with students to best fit their needs. The only thing I would change is the physical campus size, as many classes are in the basement."
