"The teachers are good at teaching. They make everything easy to understand. They also challenge us by giving homework everyday, making us do projects, and more. The schedule is also nice because it's a block schedule."

"Students at LAHSA are very diverse. I think it is a good thing because at one point they understand each other. Also, you learn from them and their culture which is great. The students here don't discriminate. They accept each other, they welcome new comers. They help and guide each other. They accept fellow students for who they are."

"The teachers in LAHSA are very nice and approachable. You learn a lot from them. They don't make you feel like you're on your own, they're always ready to help if you need it. They care about your grades and push you to do the your best. They teach us good values that we could use in the future."

"Although most of the teachers at LACHSA genuinely care for the students that are in said class, I do believe that there is a small handful of teachers that actually want the students to fail. For example, one of the economics teachers, always talks down to her students, and says statements like "If you fail, which I'm expecting on this test, then that's on you!" On the other hand, one of the best senior english teachers, strives to make sure that every lesson that is taught in the classroom is engaging and fun for the students. If one kid receives a bad grade, then the teacher will call him in after class and work to keep the students grades up. Therefore, I say, there is an equilibrium relating to the teacher's work ethics at LACHSA."

"Although there have been quite a few changes to the environment of LACHSA, I would say that the administration has done a nice job at providing the best environment that they possibly can for the school, especially the seniors, who are the last grade that remember what the old LACHSA was like. Even though there have been a few bumps in the road relating to funding and school provision, LACHSA has done a great job in maintaining a good vibe all around."
