"Garfield Highschool has wonderful staff members and teachers who truly care about you and will do anything to see you succeed, they always put the needs of thier students first. Our school has a great relationship with parents, they always try thier best to keep them involved and updated with Upcoming events and news. I've met wonderful people at Garfield. I've made friends with people who help me strive to success. I love my school it has taught me so much, I've made friends that will last a life time, and I have grown throughout the years. Although there are phenomenal characteristics about my school one thing that I would change is the lack of school spirit. they show they're school spirit academically but not physically. I say this because when We host spirit week only a handful of people participate. I would like to see the majority of the school participate in events. I want them to have a great time at school and have fun all by showing their school pride!"

"The teachers are very nice and are dedicated to teaching students correctly but the classes are boring. I would like it if they took out the slcs because it makes me feel different and trapped to have the majority of my classes in one building. You dont get to be with your friends anymore since they have another slc. The school dances are a ripoff because they're not as fun as the school is saying they are and students are wasting their money for cheap events."

"My experience at Garfield has been exciting so far. As a basketball player, the experience is even better. I'd like to change our class schedules from blocks to period."

"Personally i love Garfield High School we have a great sense of community and all care for each other. There is rarely any conflict in our school and if there is a problem we are heard. I am a senior and will be graduating this year and I have had a great time making friends and meeting all the incredible teachers and staff who care about each and every student and go out of there way to help them in any way."

"My experience at James A Garfield High School was absolutely amazing. I would not want to go to any other high school. From the teachers always being ready to help you in any way they can to having good friendships with alot of people. I would consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to attend this high school and I am sad to be leaving it in just a few short months"
