"All the teachers are great except one of the Math teachers. She is an amazing person but she lacks in her teaching skills."

"Now about the teachers, well I have to say there are some teachers that good at their job and there are some that are not good in doing their job. The good teachers are only a few that are strict yet caring and I personally like that. I believe teachers should be strict, they need to be taken serious by their students not taken like a teenager like the students and these good teachers I talk about are good in their job, their always on task with their material and they consider students opinions. However, there are more bad teachers that blend in with the students, they want the students to like them so they act like teenagers to fit in with the teenagers or some bad teachers just are so strict and don't consider students feelings because to them school isn't therapy. Now my question to them would be "what happen to teachers helping the students being able to focus in class?" Okay school isn't therapy but if a student isn't focusing and doing poorly in school, that should be something to talk about in teacher to parent meeting with the student so that it could be fixed. I believe the teachers have good knowledge just their teaching styles and interest in students is not accurate and there when needed. So by that being said the communication skills are not as strong as it should be so that makes the grading not as fair as should be."

"The social scene in this school is okay. Students are involved in the school at times, the peer pressure is there because students are pretty complicated to accept a no and just want to be cool so they keep up with pressuring until others accept. Being accepted in this school is like fitting into the social scene, be a rebel, be cool, do or be someone that stands out and you will be accepted by your peers. All the students care about here is their appearance and what they do."

"The academics in this high school is not as bad but not as well either. I say this because as I experienced my junior and senior year at this school I have to say I did not get as much help as I should have gotten from the counselors and principal. Apparently it took a while to get an appointment with the counselor or even the principle so it really was just ridiculous. I thought they suppose to be the ones to help us when needed. And I know there are teachers that we can communicate with but it is different because their just teachers, they cannot do anything but give us their opinions and that is if they even have time to spare for us on their break. That is the good part of this high school experience. There was some good teachers that heard the students out educationally and personally, some of the teachers did the students time which was really just nice and thoughtful of them. However besides the teachers, counselors and principle I would rate this high school a three. It's an okay high school. The curriculum is fair enough for the students, the scheduling process is good, the workload is not bad and the special study options are decent for the students."

"In all my years I knew that I was going to attend a college or university after I graduate from high school. I did not want to work. I wanted to still go to school so that I could obtain a degree that can help me get a good job that pays good enough for me. However, after I graduated from high school I got accepted to universities and cal states that I wanted to go to! But I missed deadlines because I was rethinking on going to something big like a university or cal state and just go to a college. What made me rethink about this was my brothers opinions about the tuition's mainly. So I applied to East Los Angeles College that is a near by college for me and is also the college my two brothers are attending as well. Before starting college I felt prepared for it, I was honestly just excited to start attending college. I did not know what was going to come my way through this experience but I'm ready for it. I am a determine student and keep going forward in my education until I get to where I want to be at."
