"The Common Core has sometimes been a challenge especially introducing it so late in their academic life. Wish it wasn't a part since it has affected my kids' love of math."

"The school offers top quality academics with good teachers to teach. They offer AP courses for students who are achievers. The workload of students these days are overwhelming. They have too much homework, too much pressure to compete, and too much stress. Although this is an overall problem, this school is trying to compete with everyone else in order to achieve their scores and maintain their good standing. However, to destress, most students pick Ceramics as the fun class to take. Sad but true!"

"Love this school for its diversity and great academics. Wish it were more involved with the students since they begin 9th grade so by the time they are seniors, all of their requirements for college applications would be done. Wish there was a mandatory class students had to take to ensure everything is met prior to applying."

"Culver City High School is a great school that accepts ethnicities, classes, and gender. It is the school that parents move to this city in order to send their kids to this school. Parents sacrifice the high rents and high property taxes in order to send their children to this school which is located in a hidden community full of families seeking better education for their children. The school offers great counselors to support you through the 4 years of education, they meet you to discuss concerns/goals, they actually care about your child's progress and future. This school has offered my child the opportunity to surround herself with a great teaching staff, quality and competitive education, and a great experience she will take with her in her future."

"While some teachers are great, others do not teach and allow the kids to teach themselves which is very frustrating. Allowing students to get into groups and talk about a certain chapter is not teaching."
