"Lots of diversity at this campus. The whole student body is competitive as well."

"Your experience at this school is based off a couple factors. Your race, popularity, and economic situation. The reason why I provided those factors is because that is what the school administrators will notice when it comes to your profile at school. For example I had a problem with my schedule one year. I asked for help from my counselor but got nothing. I then later asked help from the Principal, and my request went through. However the principal was not happy doing it as she bashed at why I requested help in the first place. This school (specifically the administration) only cares about the money. Every year and everyday you will hear them asking for donations. Now they tell us the donations go to the "academics" but that cannot be clarified. They treat the "privileged" students who are able to donate loads of money better than the minorities. If you don't believe me you might be in a situation like that in the future, just be aware. Moving on to the teachers, most of them are very good! But the rest of them are pretty bad. I don't know how some of the teachers at this campus got their jobs because they teach like LAUSD teachers. Over my 4 years at this school I had about 6 teachers (ex: spanish, comp sci, calc) that were incompetent and could care less about their jobs. Those types of teachers ruin the learning experience at this school and its a shame that they are bringing down the good teachers with them."

"Depends on which teachers you get. Some are excellent! Others are possibly the worst that speak broken English or offer little to no help throughout the course."

"Academics depends on the teacher. Some teachers teach very well. Others just butcher their subject and make it unenjoyable."

"The teachers as Peninsula are all really well educated and work well to support the students who go there. They are all really knowledgable in their one subject. I was one of those struggling students and I felt comfortable going up my teacher to receive help. If anyone did not understand something most of the teacher would try their best to make the student understand what they do not get. For grading every teacher was similar but slightly different depending on the teacher, but overall it wasn't unfair."
