"So proud to be a former Condor. Great teachers who love what they do and are always willing to help guide students toward college."

"Cal High offers some fairly interesting classes, like AP Psychology and Photography. They also have a decent selection of other AP classes for every grade level, although I was disappointed there was no AP Music Theory while I was there. The student population is mostly Hispanic. There's various sports like tennis and football for both genders. Many of the teachers have years of experience and are ready to help students with whatever they can."

"California High School had great academics and opportunities for everyone to find something they really enjoy. It's a pretty big campus so there isn't too much drama because others don't really bother you since there's lots of space. The visual art programs are some of the best you can find. The sports teams become basically families because they spend so much time together in and out of school. Some teachers are boring, others unorganized, but some teachers love what they do and make difficult classes enjoyable while still teaching the course to its full extent."

"What I really enjoyed about California High School was that the school provided so much information on colleges and they even set up workshops so that they could help you apply to colleges and FAFSA. I'd like to see the cafeteria food change. The cafeteria lunch was not very good or nutritional at all."

"California High was overall a good and bad experience. The academics at this school are relatively high level, and the staff at this school help with as much as they need to. This school does not have a good diversity level though, I was the one of five African American students that went to that school and that in itself made my experience not as great as it could have been."
